sipilsandbox.undip.ac.id – After going through PKKMB activities, the next new undergraduate students of Undip Civil Engineering Year 2023 attended a series of Character Education (Pendikar) activities. The Civil Engineering Pendikar took place for three days, namely on August 16, 18, and 19, 2023, and took place in Building A101, Undip Civil Engineering Campus. The implementation of this Pendikar activity aims to form a positive character of each new student which is not only given through material but also through Mini Games that enlighten the thinking of each new student.
On the first day, the new students received material about The Dream Team which teaches new students to be able to brand themselves and their groups. In the next material, students were taught to understand the importance of ethical and moral values as a basis for behavior in order to create an Ethical Generation. Then in the last material, the new students were guided to become a character who is Brave and cares about sexual violence, pornography, and wise in using the device.
On the next day, the new students were taught to become a person who can have a positive influence on many people, such as creating business ideas that have a broad impact on society and inspire their surroundings. Then, the new students were guided to instill leadership character in order to be able to lead themselves and many people. In addition, new students are also instilled with the characters of discipline, honesty, and being able to implement the values in Pancasila.
And on the last day, the new students were instilled with the values of “UNDIP-COMPLETE”. In addition, new students are also taught the AKKU and SMART methods in achieving their goals. The series of Pendikar activities was closed with the performance of an Art Performance with the theme Indonesia Negeriku by all new students of S1 Civil Engineering Year 2023. With the implementation of this series of Pendikar activities, it is hoped that new students can feel the benefits of the material presented and the mini games carried out, and can be implemented in everyday life related to good disciplines.
